See where you actually show up on the map.
Google shows a different map to someone two miles away. This checks your position from a grid of points across the city, one keyword at a time, so you see the whole picture instead of the one you get from your own desk. Arizona businesses, no card.
Start with your zip code and the name on your listing.
The zip centres the map. The name is how we find you on Google, so use it exactly as it reads on your Business Profile.
If it will not find you, call (602) 527-2827 and we will run the check for you.
Which one is you?
These are the listings Google returned near that zip. Point at one and the grid moves to it; pick yours and it stays.
What would someone type to find you?
One phrase, the way a customer would say it. We search it from 9 points spread across 3 miles around and record where you land in each one.
This takes up to about thirty seconds. Each of the 9 points is a separate search and they run one after another, so leave this tab open. If Google slows down part way we show you the points we already have rather than nothing.
You can still start without the free check. and we will run the first check as soon as you are set up.
The map could not load here, so the grid is drawn as a diagram. The points are the same.
9 points across 3 miles, centred on . Each one is a real Google search, run from that spot. The bright one is you.
The free check is not running right now, either because today's free checks are all used or because Google did not answer. Below is a real one, run on our own listing for "d1git" 3 days ago, so you can see exactly what arrives.
Yours is the same thing centred on your address, for your phrase, and it runs on the day you sign up.
No free map this time. Your first one is built on the day you sign up, and after that it runs on the schedule your plan sets.
, for "".
Each circle is one search, taken from that spot on the map. North is up. Green means you made the local pack from there. A cross means Google did not show you at all.
Google stopped answering part way through, so this map is a few points short. A paid check retries and finishes the grid.
Nothing found on this grid is a reading too, and a common one. It means the phrase is worth work rather than that the check failed.

Our own listing, for "d1git".
49 points, each one a real search taken from that spot. North is up. Green means we made the local pack from there, a cross means we were not shown at all. Yours is built the same way, centred on your address.
Every square is a cross, which is the honest state of that phrase for us right now. We publish the real one rather than a flattering one: a tracker that only ever comes back green is not measuring anything.
One check is a snapshot. The same grid, redrawn every week or month, is what tells you whether anything is working. From $20 a month, priced on the page, and nothing is charged until you say so.
