d1git is now a GoDaddy Recommended Agency Partner
GoDaddy approved d1git into its Agency Partner Program at the Recommended tier, the highest of its three, making d1git the only Arizona agency at that tier. What the tiers are, what it takes to reach each one, and what it changes for your website, domain and hosting.
This week GoDaddy approved d1git into its Agency Partner Program, and placed me in the Recommended tier. It is the highest of the program's three tiers.
As of October 2026, GoDaddy's partner directory lists only two agencies in Arizona, and d1git is the only one at the Recommended tier. The other is a Trusted partner in Lake Havasu City.
Most of the businesses I build for have their domain, hosting or email at GoDaddy, so I spend a good part of every week inside it: connecting domains, moving sites, fixing DNS, setting up email. The partner program is GoDaddy's way of recognizing the web designers and agencies who do that work for their clients. Here is how it is set up, and what it means if you work with me.
The three partner tiers
GoDaddy places partners by how much business they bring to GoDaddy over a rolling 12 months. That total counts the agency's own account plus the client accounts it manages through GoDaddy's Hub. The program itself is free to join.
Verified
The entry tier, given on admission. A Verified partner gets a team of agency success managers, a shared group channel with GoDaddy, a 30-day trial of GoDaddy's managed WordPress hosting, and free white-glove migrations to annual hosting plans.
Trusted
Reached at $2,500 in rolling 12-month spend. Trusted adds a dedicated agency success manager, a dedicated channel with GoDaddy, 3 credits of Premium Support for WordPress, and a six-month managed WordPress hosting trial.
Recommended
Reached at $6,000 in rolling 12-month spend, and the tier d1git is in. On top of the dedicated success manager and channel, Recommended is the only tier that receives customer referrals from GoDaddy, and it comes with 5 credits of Premium Support for WordPress and a twelve-month managed WordPress hosting trial.
That spend comes from years of real client work: the domains, hosting and email I have set up and looked after for Phoenix businesses since 2009.
What it changes for you
- A direct line inside GoDaddy. When a domain transfer stalls or a hosting problem needs someone at GoDaddy, I have a dedicated success manager and a dedicated channel to take it to, instead of a general support queue.
- WordPress help when it is needed. Premium Support for WordPress credits mean a stubborn WordPress problem has expert backup behind it.
- Moves without the downtime worry. Moving an existing site onto an annual GoDaddy hosting plan comes with a free white-glove migration.
What does not change
- You still deal with one person. I design and build every site myself, and I answer the phone.
- Your domain stays in your name. Partner status does not change who owns your accounts. I covered why that matters in how to choose a website designer.
- My prices stay the same. Websites start at $1,000 and logos are $500.
- I will still tell you when GoDaddy is not the right fit. GoDaddy pays partners a share of some first purchases, and I would rather say so plainly. If another host or registrar suits your business better, that is what I will recommend.
